Remarks

JIMS is an excellent choice for BCA and this college is best among all JIMS colleges for BCA. Great infrastructure, Great Faculty, Great campus, Great placement record. I choose BCA because i love computer.

Course Curriculum Overview

For our course the syllabus is updated on a regular basis. Teachers teach everything they find relevant. Industrial exposure in the form of workshops is provided. Teachers are qualified with industry experience.

Companies like INFOSYS and TCS come here to hire BCA students. Package offered is a little low as hardly a few students get above 5lakh package. Lowest package is around 2lpa. Placement cell guides a lot and helps in getting internships.

College Events

If you find right group of friends, you will enjoy your college life here to the fullest. JIms has a great crowd and every type of student studies here. A lot of events are conducted along with annual fests.

Campus Life

Huge campus with all the facilities like sports ground, indoor gaming, gym, library, different labs, canteen, medical room are available. Lush green campus. There are 2 Libraries with a the books present. Labs have all the required infrastructure.

I liked coding so that's why I choose to do MCA . I mean college had actually helped me in building good programming and logical skills but I think it still lacks lot in real world. Eligible for Placements :- From Third Semester in MCA Companies that visited here :- Swiggy , Jaro Education , Vivo , Hike Education , etc. Highest Package from our college :- 14.52 LPA Average Package from our college :- 4-5 LPA 60% to 75% of students got placed from our college every year. If i don't get placed from college then i have to apply on LinkedIn , Naukri, Glassdoor where i our faculty give recommendation of us and our faculty also trained us for cracking interviews.

Is AKTU right choice?

Placement Experience:

Placement cell does provide opportunities for getting placed in many organisations, however the primary focus is on just getting students placed regardless of organisation's reputation and the job profile. The placement process begins from 7th semester. MNCs don't approach this college for the course, which a very big backlash. Highest package offered was 4.2 LPA and average package was somewhere around 2-3 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course structure is good of btech but there there is only thing I don't like is that in btech course the subjects in first year are not related to career of students because there is physics, chemistry other irrelevant subjects present in first year but in second year the course become interesting and relevant. Curriculum is good and prepare well for real world applications. The exams comes frequently every month there is a class test but class tests are moderate on the basis of there difficulty level.

Great learning and internship Support

From 8th sem clg placement starts the companies like infosys hcl tcs airtel and many more comes the highest package was rs 12.50 lakh by a senior girl of btech and the avg package is 6 lakhs around 90 percent+ get the placement somehow teacher also use their public relations to get their students placed so the package differs but placement happens at high rate ....my plan is to prepare for govt job and get a job at pwd as assistant engineer

The most honest review of my college you will ever find!

I did apply to other colleges like galgotias, ymca, and even got selected to NIT Hamirpur for biotech but chose this college instead. This was because of accesiblity....since I'm from Haryana, this college is more accessible as compared to other colleges i got selected and applied for. Also, since I was strongly passionate about pursuing data science, I chose this college. The admission process is fairly lengthy and detailed but mostly simple throughout. We had to carry a lot of personal documents but the faculty and staff members helped in making the process smoother.
