Remarks :

St. Joseph's college is a very well known college with A++ grade. This college has well known faculties and most of them have achieved doctorate. MSc Statistics is a job offering course and it plays a vital role in each and every sectors like educatio al, government, research sectors etc. So by considering all these factors i have opted this college and course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our college provides us with the most updated syllabus for this course and they also helps in providing us with a better theoretical as well as practical knowledge. They practise us with modern technical programs and improves the skills in programming languages.

Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Recently i have not opted for any internship but i woulf like to opt for it.

Placement Experience :

The placements and the job opportunities after completing this course is too high. There are lots of companies who hire the candidates who have completed this course. We have visited a company at Bangalore where all the sections requires the data analyst for collecting the datas for analysing and interpreting. Some of our aluminas have also placed in these companoes.

College Events :

Our campus life was a memorable one there we have done all the cheriable moments. We had a good academics background and other cultural activities also. Arts, sports are among them. We also have good faculties who supports us in our studies as well as for the development of our own skills in different fields.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't get any scholarships from our college. I don't have the knowledge about the loans and scholarships that are provides by our college.

Campus Life :

Our college campus has got a well furnished infrastructure. College gives equal importance to both the academics and all other cultural activities. Our campus have got a wi-fi accessibility, library, and most equiped lab facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

Our college has its own hostel for both boys and girls. These hostels are situated in same compound very next to the college. Hostel has a very good homely feel and it has got an amazing infrastructure with a guest room, prayer hall, mess hall, with clean rooms and bathrooms. The foods that are provided by our hostel are so tasety and also healthy. Our hostel has a small play ground where we can play all games.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

From 4th semester, students become eligible for placements ie; at the beginning of second year itself . Students are eligible with a CGPA of 7 for most of the companies visiting Amrita School of Business, Kochi. Most of the banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, ICICI BANK etc comes for placement. Also PWC, Deloitte, BNY Mellon etc comes for placement. Many marketing companies like World of Stones, Exide batteries etc will come for placements. Good companies are more coming for placements. Avg package is 6 lakhs and highest is 14 lakhs. Almost 98% gets placed from college.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
