Vivek's Review On IIMT College Of Engineering, Greater Noida

I took AIEEE and got rank above 1 Lakh. So my rank didn't worked for taking to admission. I went to college and give their own personal test in which I got 75% marks. So they accepted me as a private candidate.

As the college is recognized by UPTU so all course is fully designed by university itself. The college has to follow the course only. Though there is some extra courses Like networking and wireless.

There is no college internship as college has no tie up with any company. Even college is blacklisted by TCS. No stipend. Student has to arrange his,her own internship. But he can take help from teachers because some teachers can serve as a source for your internship.

Placement is there but all are very limited. Maximum package offered to students is from 10k to 18k only. No big companies like TCS,HCL,Wipro come for campus recruitment. Only local noida based company come here for placements. MBA students even didn't find there offered profiles up to their knowledge level.

There are very limited college events. College management is not interested in any events. But college calls some local Ministers time to time for their own political benefits. Some events were Robotica Mechania Electro Event.

Yes fee structure is very less as compared to all colleges in noida even in whole NCR. But college is increasing it day by day. Now for B.tech its more than 1 Lakh per year. At my time1st year 78k,2nd year 85k,3rd year 90k,4th year 95k.

Yes there is scholarship to the students. According to the score in exams annually. For 70-80% Rs 5000,80-90% Rs 20000,90% above nobody scored till date so no declaration of scholarship for that. No loan facility to students. Even up government itself provide more than Rs 50000 to general students.

There is no campus life as there is no freedom to the students to get anyway in the coleege campus. There are extracurricular,labs,sports,competitions such as robotics, debates but all these activities are not open to all.

Hostel facilities are ok but not up to the mark. Food is also not upto mark. As hostel fee is Rs 75000 per year so arranging a PG or a room will be more beneficial and convenient as outside hostel student will be more free and safe at the same time.

Alumni network is good. In fact what I got to know about good companies was only by alumni and the seniors. Junior senior interaction is not much. Even there is no Introduction to the seniors by the juniors.

Exam structure is fully designed and conducted by UPTU. 8 Exams in 4 year. Can take re-exam but upto 3 times only. Yes but there is some internal tests and exams in the college which are not fixed in numbers. College doesn't take these tests seriously.
