Entrance Preview

I took MPPET 70% this college offered me Electronics branch and had a good reputation. The interview and screening process was good.

Internships Opportunities

I was not a part of this program. It may have started after my batch passed out. So no idea. During my tenure there were no internship programs as the college was fairly new.

Placement Experience

Campus Placements were not held since the college was new but the students got good placements most of the students from all branches were placed in good companies.

College Events

The college celebrated annual function every year which used to be a big event. We had also participated in inter college cultural program help in IT-BHU and represented our college in different competitions and won some of them as well. I had participated in singing,dance etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was a little on the higher side. To some it was un-affordable as well.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college where I studied was an autonomous college funded by university. There were no scholarship programs when it started. These programs may have come up in the later years. There were some students who had taken education loan for their curriculum.

Campus Life

Campus life was good. There used to extra curricular activities like annual day celebration,other competitions,sports etc. Periodically to keep students motivated throughout. There used to inter college sports competitions as well.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was good however initially there were security concerns for female students. But later a bigger hostel accommodation was arranged. Food could have been better. The quality of raw material used was just okay.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Unfortunately I have not been able to attend any of the alumni meet but I keep getting invites and other updates on the same. These events started quite late but now they keep happening regularly.

Exam Structure

We had internal exams external semester papers and practical and viva for each semester. Projects were a part of fifth and seventh semester and labs were usually a fun place to learn.

Faculty

The faculty was good. Some of them were fresh passouts while some were quite experienced. There were some sessions conducted on enhancing interpersonal skills as well.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

LIFE IN MITS-DU

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to get placed and many companies visits every year for placement and approx 60-70% students gets placement every year.As per my knowledge there is no company which has made no offer.Average package is about 6-7 lakhs per annum.My plan is to take good package from on campus placement drive.If I am unable to get this then I will try for off campus placement and I also want to do MTECH after graduating.

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

For internship from college students are applicable after 3rd year and on 7th semester they are applying for placements.
