Remarks

The college is average but not very good in the field of education. Only few branches are growing in this college.

Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE I have choosen civil engineering because I love making structures. Just pass the UPSEE and then choose college code 064 at the time of counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are running as per the guidelines of UPTU which ie now converted to A.P.J. Abdul kalam technical university.

Placement Experience

Not very much but some companies like TCS,Wipro,Infosys,JK CEMENT,Housing.com etcccome to the college for recruitment at package of arround 3 to 4.5 lacs. TCS is the most famous company which recruited about 130 students this year at a package of 3.33 lac per annum. Other company also come to the college to recruit the students.

College Events

Gyan jyoti is the annual techno-cultural fest of the college. Annual sports meet is also organized in the campus. More inter college sport tournaments are held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a little higher.This time it is arround 1.02 lacs without hostel.The fee seems to be very high as not so much quality education is there as compared to other engineering colleges .

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship from government side is provided but there is no scholarship scheme from college side. Loan may be availed by Punjab National Bank.

Campus Life

There are arround 300 girl and 500 boy students residing in the hostel this time.The college is very good for sports. The gym facility is also provided for all the students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel fee is also very much as it is Rs 73000 per room this time for single person room. But the food is not so good as the amount of hostel fee is very high.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

No special treatment is there for senior students. Somtime Alumni meet is organized. The alumni may get connected to the college by guest lectures to the college anytime by calling to the T&D.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is same as guidelines of UPTU. The exam pattern is of semester type. Twice in a year once in the month of December and again in the month of May. The college has well equipped laboratories with well maintained assistants to help students in making new projects and anything they want to create. There are 3 hrs per day alloted for laboratory work in the college.

Evaluating Social,Cultural,Infrastructural aspects of my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are various aspects of the curriculum which are compelling such as practical learning there's a lot of focus emphasized on practical learning such as the workshops,graphic designing and various science labs which encourage the students to learn with more interest.There are some areas for improvement like the time is bit too much from 9 to 5 they could reduce a bit of time and give students some time for there self studies as there are a lot of lectures in the academic time table which are free so those periods could be reduced and students could be let free a bit earlier.the exams are taken on regular intervals there are 3 assignment tests in a semester 1 class test which is very crucial as it determines the internal marks of the students and then at last there's a pre university which is a type of a mock test to prepare the students for semester exams and there's also an online test(olt) conducted every Friday in labs,the difficulty level of these exams is pretty reasonable which prepares the students for there various exams and competitions.

Today in Srm Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad become eligible from seventh sector or the last year of the course. some of the top creators for the core branches are Amazon, Infosys , TCS , Wipro, IBM, SAP labs, Cognizant , Tech Mahindra, HCL , JP Morgan Chase , Philips , etc. in 2024 more than 958 companies visited the campus making more than 6200 job offers across all disciplines. the highest package for BTech students in Srm IST Delhi NCR campus ranged from 18 LPA to 22 LPA. Selective candidates Getting up to 29 LPA. the average package for BTech with artificial intelligence and machine learning 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. the lowest package for eligible students was 3.45 LPA. the placement rate for eligible students for the recent past years is 80% to 90% for cse departements but dipped to about 55% for all btech combined in 2023 to 24 large scale hiring typically happens from IT firms and consultancy company. Students are offered role such as software developer, analyst, data engineer, graduate trainee, systems engineer, business analyst, etc. my future plans are either do higher studies like M, tech and MBA or Work in software development and machine, Delhi related job roles.

Placement in my college is great .from 6th semester you can sit in placement drive . Capgemini and cognizant are mass recruiter of our college beside many other companies also come like TCS, paypal etc . Highest package is of 64 lack per year by Microsoft. Average is of 3,4 lack per year by Capgemini. 70 to 80% students got placed My plan is to do MBA after b.tech
