Remarks

It is the top NIT of the country and is better than many of the IITs. The teaching quality here is beyond excellence. The environment here is too good and perfect for an engineering student. It has managed to top the list of nit from last 5years.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very much flexible. Teachers often conduct industrial visits providing us with industrial exposure. Faculty is highly qualified with most of them from IITs. Research department of the college is excellent.

Class Size: 41Course Fees: INR 750000 per year

Placement Experience

Really good placements.The highest salary offered was around 40lpa and the lowest salary offered is 5lpa. Top recruiting companies visiting our campus for.placements are Bajaj, Nvidia, Samsung, Qualcomm, SanDisk, GAIL (PSU), HPCL (PSU), Texas Instruments, Tata, General Electric, etc. Roles offered by these companies are graduate engineer trainee, management trainee, data analyst, business analyst, project manager, embedded engineer, etc.

College Events

Very good campus life as many fests are organised. There are many sports competition. Technical events are also organised like hackathons and robotic competition. All the socities like dance, music, theatre are present and free to join.

Campus Life

There are separate labs for each subject. Wifi is available. All the books needed for the course are present in the library.Sports is encouraged a lot and lots of sports events are organised. There are sports ground for every major sport.

The curriculum is vast. But dental also deals with practical skills. So it's not that hard. The exams can be hard if you prepare at the last minute. But otherwise it's manageable. We write 3 IA and one final paper. And we get to write a mock paper before the finals. We'll be having model practical exams as well before the final practical exam.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college campus is very good and peaceful as well. My college has a vast library which works from 8.30 a.m to 5.30 p.m on all working days and study holidays. Here if a student wants to borrow any other books other than his/her course, they need to seek prior permission of the Principal to get them books.
