Remarks

The teaching is good and we get to gain a lot of experience as well as knowledge in lab. The faculties are ready to help if you want to gain knowledge. Since there are students from all over India the students are able to mingle with each other irrespective of the language and other social barriers.

Course Curriculum Overview

The academics is fine and the courses offered based on the Department and also it is updated as the regulation changed. They do offer various courses according to the department you want to specialise in.

The placement offers for CS group is good.There are many alumini's who have interacted with the current students through webinars to provide us a data of the current job system and about higher studies.

The campus life happens to be the best as you gain a good experience. There are two major fests which happens to be aruush and Milan where people from various communities join their hands together and have a joyful experience.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is good. The library is very vast and has a good ambience for reading. They provide the students with access to WiFi which happens to be helpful most of the times. The campus is very vast and students can hang out anywhere.

Atmosphere and affordability

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students will be eligible without any backlog. Axis bank, Deloitte, zuilka motors , Maruti Suzuki I got offer letter from 2 companies Axis Bank and zulika motors Axis Bank offered for 240000/- per annum and zulika motors offered 300000/- per annum. Then I tried outside also I got even better package 420000/- per annum at Avias india manufacturer of stainless Steel and kitchenware. So I went with Better package I went for 5 months then I resigned the job for the higher studies

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
