Remarks

Because of its staff as I have heard from one of my seniors as she is from the same college and she gave a reference of this college. Told me about the the department staff and told that the teaching faculty is also great, Also students are expose to extra curricular activities as well which build their personalities. Along with this the job placements here is also very nice.

Course Curriculum Overview

As it is a automous college several changes are made as per the new technologies requirements.Also students portion or the syllabus is based totally on what the companies need from an employee, what all qualities what all subjects they to study.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 104764 per year

Placement Experience

The companies our all reputed starting with package of 19lakhs for a German companies also there are other companies which do offer 11laks package

College Events

It is just awesome as students get an exposure of doing something different from the day to day routine. Various fest our held by different councils. Also all the fests our organized by students itself which help them build their leadership qualities. And the participation of the students is also in huge numbers. Various sponsors also sponsor our fest.

Campus Life

It's nice we have our own auditorium where our annual fest is conducted. Our annual fest is just great as various celebrities also come to our fest as judges. Also, the college infrastructure is nice it has Wi-Fi facilities libraries and also equipments for our various labs.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. LIFE AT USHA MITTAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

i applied in difffrent colleges like ST. Francis college of engineering, borivali , Atharva college of engineering , malad etc. I didnt make it there as being a student belonging to the open category the cutoff for my desired branch was a bit higher whereas my college provided me with an opportunity to be eligibible for my desired branch.
