Remarks

I heard Indira college of commerce and science has good placement facilities which made me choose this college. Also teachers are so knowledgeable. College is situated very near to my area hence I don't get any issues related to going and coming.

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't think teachers have any faults in their teaching but some of them really needs to work more on their english speaking. All teachers are highly knowledgeable so they need not to work on that.

Class Size: 70

Placement Experience

Since I am pursuing my last year of this course, I haven't experienced much but heard alot about placement activities. Indira has 70-80% placements. Lots of companies come and visit indira during placement activities. Indira is also well known for Good Placement giving.

College Events

Indira's campus is good,clean and large. Indira's is famous for its event which is "Gusto". During gusto days, students perform their activities like bike show, stunts, etc in the campus. DJ night is one of the best known event in Gusto. Rest all activities like singing and dancing happens inside the multipurpose hall.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals

There is no entrance for this course the admission is on first come first basis on the basic percentage requirement I got 80% is in my CBSE SSC exam and was easily accepted in the college.
