Remarks

According to the NIRF ranking the college stood 17th and according to the PCI ranking the college stood 9th in India also in the state rankings our college stood 3rd. Also the campus was located in a very nice area of the city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus was up to date. From last year onwards all the pharmacy colleges have the same syllabus as given by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for the new comers. The faculties I've known so far are too good. I would like to take a name that was Dr. MM Ghaisas sir. He was really a great teacher and a very knowledgeable person.

Many of the top pharma companies visit the college for placements including Cipla, Sanofi, Johnson & Johnson, Docplexus, Xogene, etc.

College Events

The campus life is just amazing and the college hosts a lot of events. There are various cells in the college associated with different fields. These cells work efficiently and conduct some amazing events during the college time and even during the corona pandemic period. The college also conducts a cultural week and a traditional day for students to get some time off their studies and to enjoy the college life.

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is quite nice. Only the library here is not that large. The sitting space is less but consists of over 31000+ books. The lab equipments are good and the labs are regularly cleaned.

Hostel Facilities

I've not opted for the hostel but there are a lot of PG's in the area. Mess's are also located close to the college and also there are various cafes and restaurants for students to enjoy the local food. The average rent for a PG is about 70k to 80k per year excluding the mess facility.

The course curriculum is pretty outdated. I am in cybersecurity specialization and there are only 2 subjects(starting from 2nd year) related to cybersecurity.and those courses are good but the faculty teaching them arent that great. they just read out the ppts, which they dont even share.

Placements start from final year. Students become eligible in 7th sem. Training sessions begin earlier. Aptitude and coding practice provided. Mock interviews are also conducted. Preparation quality depends on effort. Many service based firms visit. Some product companies also come. Roles include developer and analyst. Support and testing roles common. Core jobs limited for some branches. Multiple offers for top performers. Average package is moderate level. Top packages go to few students. Around half students get placed. Others find off campus jobs. Internships improve placement chances. My plan is skill based job.

I don't know much about the placements but I heard that after third year onwards you get placement opportunities . The highest package is 12 lacks and the average package is between 3.5 to 4.5 lacks .
