Remarks

Amity University Jharkhand is an esteemed University and one of the best private colleges in Jharkhand.People often think that just because taking admission in Amity is easy, so survival  would not be that difficult. But Amity is much more than just fancy campus. Attendance above 75% is mandatory and hence students can't bunk classes and can actually learn something. Getting grades is also quite a difficult task in Amity. One has to put in quite a lot of efforts. Amity provides various opportunities to students to enhance their interpersonal skills and become more confident in life. Students get to learn foreign languages which is also plus point. Amitians get a chance to study one whole semester in any of the Amity campuses in the world. That's such a great opportunity for the students. I think one should rather study in a college which is the best private university than studying in a college whose not even known. There are obviously pros and cons to everything. But that doesn't mean Amity is a bad college. There's a myth in the society that Amity is also for rich people, but trust me this is just not true.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The faculty members are always ready to welcome the doubts of the students with open arms. They are very generous. Most of them are PhD or are currently pursuing it. They have a deep knowledge and understanding of their subjects. Students of BBA and MBA get an industrial tour for the better understanding of the market and industry. Seminars are also organized for the students. The course syllabus is fairly relevant. All the subjects are related to the course and if learned properly, they are surely beneficial in future.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placement is a little disappointing. Even though Amity has a brand value not many companies are ready to come for placement. That is also because students are not capable enough to crack the entrance test required for the placement. The average package offered is around 3-4.5 LPA. Companies which have visited so far are Byjus, Federal bank, Airtel etc.

College Events

3.5

There are events happening almost everyday. Seminars, competitions, workshops are a must in Amity. The most awaited event is Amiphoria. It is the annual cultural and sports fest which is a three day long event. Dance competitions, ramp walk, battle of bands are the main highlights of the event. International artists are called for the dj and edm night.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Bokaro Steel City College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Physics)
Reviewed on Jul 16, 2021(Enrolled 2019)

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).
