Remarks

Placements were shown good at that time and campus was also said to be safe and good for all round development of a student. Also it was very popular among the school students and held a very good reputation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is almot all out dated and that is poels apart from what is currently used in industry.academics is also average as very less people were there to guide you faculties were no so experienced although they were well qualified.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

Not many companies visit for our branch and only 2 or 3 companies come only 20 to 30 students were placed and those too in other branch companies.there was no entrepreneurs culture and only students sit for placement

College Events

Only very few cultural activities takes place and only one fest take place for 3 days so overall very less activities take place throughout the year and maybe only about 10 days of activities total in 365 days take place.

Campus Life

It has good infrastructure has proper space for everything except for playground as campus is in mountains so playground was not available only basketball and indoor sports was available.wifi was very very poor at that time.labs were not so modern.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is very good and adequate they have all amenities required by a student and the hostel is given on merit basis to 2nd 3rd and 4th year students. First year is 3 person in one room and then its sindle person in one room. Food provided is also of good quality but not tasty.

GEU makes complete engineers!

Placement Experience:

Oracle these days as some alumni of our college are working there and they have made them come to our university every year. Google and Amazon as well hired students almost every year from our college and because it's a batch of 900 students the average is 8 lakhs as some students even gets placements of 40-50 LPA every year.

Good Talk

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

A conforting campus experience

the btech curriculum is relevant with good balance of theory labs and project which influenced my decision to join it prepares students for internships and higher studies .adding more industry workshops and latest tools would help. exams are moderate with internal tests and one final each semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the course curriculum at graphic era hill university as highly relevent and fairly comprehensive because it include all the essential subjects like data structures ,operating system , database management systems etc.the combinatiin of both practical abd theory subject can help student to gain real word knowledge and can also achieve technical skills,the curriculum could be improve by adding more hands on industry projects , live workshop and update elective options that focus on current technologies ,exam frequency is well structured with one mid semester and one end semester , the exams are moderately difficult .

Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

You can get various scholarships on the basis of your percentile in jee mains and your 12th percentage. It's around 100 percent for 90+ percentile in jee mains and 100 percent for 95+ in PCM in 12th.
