Remarks

This is one of the renowned state private university in the state of Odisha and is famous for its agriculture courses around Odisha, West Bengal and Andhra pradesh. Its fees is also quiet competitive if we see the scope and facilities it offer. Hostel fee is 65000 and they take 23000 for development fees which I can hardly understand for what its purpose is. Many fest's and cultural events and agrifests are organized time to time. Placement I will say not much up to the mark. Very decent for cs and okish for bsc agriculture but for btech agriculture its honestly very poor. The average placement for cse is around 3lakh and highest this year was 100000 by byjus. MBA placement is also good and get very cool internships what I have heard from seniors. Our university has zero tolerance to ragging and maintain good hygiene which is very much important but as its in nearer to the sea level I.e. in a coastal district of Odisha, so because of humidity students face problems in summer. Sports and cultural activities are well functional and basketball, volleyball court, tennis court and a big cricket ground is available too. So if you are not getting any great college for agriculture course then choosing this for bsc agriculture is good and you can choose computer science department too but if a student want core branch like mech or civil, he/she may need to think twice before choosing because if at the end of 4years you didn't get placed there is no meaning of engineering. Happy learning juniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I am from btech agriculture branch.so my course is comprise of 4 years and 8 semester. Faculties are young and energetic but somewhere lack experience in our department but are very friendly and always ready to help a student who is interested in study. There is a big library present with all kinds of books and magazine and exam preparation books and e service available too. everywhere is greenery and nightlife is great if you are a couple there.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Recently I completed a summer internship as a business development intern in an Online training institute named Mandatory trendz with a stipend upto 6k as a first year student.

Placement Experience

3

The placement again I will say depends on the ability and profile of student and how he performed in interview but placement in our college depends on the branch it self like for cs its very good and for bsc agriculture its also good like average 3.2 lakh P.A and CSE its 3.4 lakh but many customer care executive posts come. Some renowned companies that visits are byjus, amazon, HCL, TCS, Tech mahindra, and many seeds and it companies and few startups.

College Events

3.5

Many literature, poetry, dance, music, social sports club are there. Interested student positively participate and praised for their talent. One or two cultural nights are organized every month for helping student's extracurricular activities. Cs department organizes many tech and gaming competition and agrifests also conducted in January month. All National days are celebrated and many Odisha celebrities and some national performers are invited in it's annual function namely Baja jyoti. Student are invited to showcase their talent and earn some money by hosting many stalls and food courts. So these facilities are very decent in our university.

Fees and Financial Aid

University provide many scholarship schemes like national rural scholarship and ballav vai Patel scholarship and also there are few I can hardly remember. Yes, Our university provides loan facilities also to student who in need of it. This year they have bring a scholarship schemes for 10 students who can study for free for 4 years but there are some terms and conditions applied. Students scoring more than 90 percentage in 12th boards will get 50000 per year scholarship in their academic fees, student with above 80 will get 25000, student scoring above 70 will get 12500 and above 60 will get 6250 scholarship in their academic fees. but the policy is you have to score more than 8 CGPA after 1st year to retain this scheme.

Campus Life

3

Infrastructure is quite cool as its 7km away from the city and nearer to hill. Its a historical type place. The top view of campus is very beautiful. A small post office box and for emergency doctor is also present and very helpful. Library is 24hrs functional and e books are also available but you need to carry your I'd card everywhere. Fingerprint entry enabled in attendance of hostel and mess too.

Hostel Facilities

3

The main campus is in a rural area of Gajpati district, Odisha surrounded by trees and animals. So the natural beauty is great in rainy season but sometimes or I can say many time small insects get inside to hostel rooms and create trouble for student like everyday a frog get into my room. Many students have complained about snakes too. So students need to concerned about that. Not a problem because for agriculture study, this type of environment is mostly required and hostel life is like that and never comparable to home. PUBG and COD squards are all around the corner at nights. Food is nutrition full but are probably Andhra pradesh type. so one need to adjust a bit like me.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

sociology as an academic discipline is really sought after in the recent times. it is considered as one of the most sought elective chosen by the upsc aspirants and the discipline in itself gives you a great chance at understanding your society and other societies about how they function amd operate, provides knowledge about various cultures, health, environment, city structure and so much more. you can pursue higher studies or go for NET exams right after post graduation. you can also work with ngos and other nonprofit organizations. each semester is ideally of 6 months and two exams are there. the difficulty level of exams would range from moderate to high

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
