Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course is unique and mostly students don't opt for this surgical background courses and the courseware attracted me to persue this degree. It prepares me well with the clinical exposure and it's ethics or protocols faculties adapt to teach the students are quite impressive. The only suggestion in the area of teaching method is to show practical techniques because students mostly remember which they visualize. The end semester exam is for 3hrs long and if the paper is lenghty then it's upto students time management how they tackle the questions and the mid semester exam is for 20marks 1hr which is equally efficient to complete the exam. Papers are usually crafted in the moderate level not so tough nor so easy.

Internships Opportunities

5

To be honest centurion doesn't provide any stipend for the internship student have to do it on their own will and learn things fo me they have assigned clinical practice at Kalinga hospital limited. Genuinely, it's one of the decent hospital where i get to learn many thing's including cannula and catheter insertion, drug dose making etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

University is best for technical courses it also include the skill facility in every semester students can opt for it. Every university have it's own pro's and cons same with this university it doesn't have it's own medical so it sends the allied health students to other tie up hospitals so it's a biggest demerit for paramedics to have less clinical exposure. Hostel timings are quite strict with girls and the food is not upto mark in the hostel. For deluxe rooms they charge around 1,30,000 For normal rooms they charge 90,000 For AC rooms they charge around 1,50,000 The attached bathroom facility is available for only deluxe and AC rooms with the strength of 3students in each room. Apart from this the university is not so vast but yes it is filled with greenery all around with beautiful flowers and plants.

Campus Life

5

Annual fest centurion do conduct is "GajaJyoti". This takes place once in a year in the month of march with actors, comedians and singer's from Bollywood and ollywod. Library do provide a vast range of books for various departments including journals. Inter sports and intra sports are organized every a year in all the campuses as for your knowledge let me tell you centurion have 8campuses including one in Andhra Pradesh. Students social clud is CSR where students do conduct various activities which makes the other students to explore more competitions and webinars. I'm involved as a writer of drama club, commonly centurion have 10 clubs.

Admission

To be very precise i didn't go for any other private college this was my 1st and last choice of selection because of the fee structure which is under my budget and in Odisha only 2 to 4 colleges do provide this course but sadly i have to mention that from 2024 they have stopped this course along with emergency medical technology and operation theatre technology due to lack of students in the field. There is an entrance exam from 2025 onwards to enter this college previously they were taking admission on the basis of 10th and 12th percentage.

Faculty

4

Faculty student ratio is decent and mostly faculties are highly qualified and educated but some of the PhD scholars who are new to teaching are the difficult one's to understand like they don't clear the concept clearly and go on reading the PDFs. For every semester they conduct one mid semester exam for all the theory paper's,practical exams before semester exam and one semester exam so all together student have to attend a 200mrks for any subject including all the exams. Best faculties i can say personally is Datta Sai sir from physiotherapy department as a professional professor he teaches well and interact well with the students. The faculty personally i don't like is Dr.yasaswi Nayak the Dean of applied sciences (zoology) she is rude with students and targets the other department students comparatively.

Night Life

5

Favourite hangout place is butterfly garden which usually opens at evening 4.00pm. the place is beautiful and refreshing along with that the cafeteria includes many food options where you can have snacks. College timings 9.30 to 5.30 Hostel timings 6.30pm to girls and 10.00pm to boys. List of famous hangout places are 1.Hathi garden 2.cafeteria 3.basketball ground 4.butterfly garden 5.coffee on wheels 6.centurion coffee connect 7.swimming pool area

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course because i love Zoology. The curriculum is strict and it also focus in the discipline of the students. The only problem is the class our overlaps with sports hour so if you want to practice your game you've to miss the last 2 classes. They all teach so professionally . Examination here are conducted so neatly and the time period is also okay.

Course Curriculum Overview:

those course curricullams at central university of odisha is thought fully designed ,offering a balanced blend of theoretical depth and practical relevance. on eof the key reason why students opt for such courses like int mathmatiss is the seamless academic progression and strong foundation it provides for research and comprdative exams. that curricullum could be more better as it can be more practical. what we are studing is like 80% theory and just 20% practical. so i do think that could be more better. the quality needs to be improved.
