Best faculty specially for commere students. Many great book authors of books (affiliated to Kurukshetra University) are our teachers like Mr.Mukesh Trehan. The campus is also very good and the vibes here are very positive. Library of the college is rich in books. One can avail many merit base and category base scholarships provided by the college and Haryana government.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculties were one of the most important reason why one should choose SA JAIN College for their graduation. Many of the books, which were affiliated to the course, was written by the esteemed members of the teaching faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I was an intern in Karvy Stock Broking company in Chandigarh city.There was no stipend only the travel accommodation. But due to some personal reasons I was unable to complete my internship.
Placement Experience
There is no campus placement. As college is not very big so there was no campus placement till I graduated. Right now our college is trying to do the same. So I have no idea about it now. But when I passed out, there was no such thing as campus placement.
College Events
Many events were conducted during my time. Talent hunt competition was the first event I participated while I was in first year of the college. It is limited to the freshers only in which many sub events are conducted such as quiz competition, dance off, musical instruments and many more.College also conducted an event (I forgot the name of it) in which one has to participate with the team and have to solve in field puzzles kind of treasure hunt.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes I have availed scholarship provided by Haryana Government to reserved category students. The name of the scholarship was Post Matric scholarship in which tution fees was given back to students in their personal account. To avail this scholarship one has to fill the form online on their own and has to submit the printed copy of the same to college. Then the college was contacted by the Government to verify the students details and after couple of months scholarship is credited to the student account.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is quite decent keeping in mind that the college was constructed in mid 19's. Library size is quite good and most of books are available. Many Sports facilities are available. Wi-Fi is limited to the library.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility available for the students.It is only limited for teaching staff.As college is quite decent in size.Many of the students were local.So there is no need for the hostel.But there are private hostel within 1km range of the college campus.
