Remarks

I studied 3 years after diploma but I must say it was a golden period for me.

Entrance Preview

Direct admission from JPACLDCE, No entrance is required according to the merit of 12th science got the admission.

Internships Opportunities

The companies are not providing stipend on initial stages but very good offers we received.I have started with Talash infosoft pvt. ltd. but there are so many other companies like Wipro, TCS etc.

College Events

At my time of college there were robotics competition as well as some technical quiz are on place. I was also part of Cultural activities as well as some managerial sessions given by some experts.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure was very simple not hidden expenses no any other extra payment. just three types:- Tution fees, Laboratory Fees and University exam fees.

All the courses are affiliated by Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), so all banks ready to provide education loans.

Campus Life

There were 60-40 gender ratios in all engineering branches except mechanical engineering each semester two student workshops and a cultural function held every year.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very good enough with neat and clean rooms and 3 persons per room means its very manageable.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

All seniors are very nice, very cooperative very humble and always ready to help as ragging is not allowed in campus premises all seniors are very nice with juniors.

Exam Structure

Every Semester there were two exams one is internal ie. unit test and another is external i.e. University exam. There were mock round of practical exams held on before university practical exam starts.

They are Very Nice. They have in depth knowlege of a subject i.e. Excellent knowledge.They have Very good pace of lecture delivery.Even they speak in english very nicely. very good communication skills.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

.Challenges faced by students.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.
