Student's Review On Sri Venkateswara Institute Of Science And Information Technology - [VISIT], Tadepalligudem

Generally people passing out of 10+2 chooses either IIT or NIT based on their performance in JEE Exam. I scored 220/360 in my mains and since I'm fond of Electronics and Mobiles a lot I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering as my branch in my B.Tech. I was already aware of in Institutions like these there will be more Practical experience than Bookish and also people try to learn on their own through self studying.

Almost every year my course syllabus get changed according to the necessity. People here won't depend more on Faculty and they prefer self studying. Academics contain exams on every month like minors, mid and End sem.

In my Second year holidays I got an internship in RTTC Mysure where I got a chance to learn about Digital Switching, Advanced IP Networking and Optical Fibre Communications.

Since we are first mentored by National Institute of Technology Warangal, we got almost all the companies going to them and hence we had a decent number of placements. Many students attended Off campus placements too and selected to them because of NIT brand value.

Every year there will be a technical and cultural fest named Vulcanzy and there used to many events on both academics and extracurricular activities. We used to participate in all of them to get to know the abilities and capabilities of others.

Epass by State Government of Andhra Pradesh helped me paying the tution fees but first we need to pay the fee at the time of registration and then after a year or so the money will be refunded. Central Scholarship gave me 10k every year which I used as my pocket money.

Since our's is the first batch of this college, complete infrastructure is new and good. They were providing everything we asked for but a bit late but it was nice for our juniors because they used to take a review from us of what and all needed and buy them accordingly.

I opted for Hostel and it was very good, just 1 person for room in my final year which gave me a decent environment in my last year to concentrate on my future. The bathrooms and extra facilities are kept clean always and trees everywhere near my hostel gave me peace.
