Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was pretty detailed and thorough. We learned a lot during the 2-year course. Our curriculum was prescribed by the university and it covered many topics ranging from marketing to operations to finance to human resource management. We learned about all these aspects in brief, while we got a detailed overview of the Sales and Marketing which was my specialization.
Placement Experience
HCL and Capgemini were our major recruiters. They would visit our campus on regular basis, even for internship. Overall campus placement was somewhere around 70% which was good, but there is still a lot of room for improvement.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My annual MBA fee was somewhere around INR 27,000 which was more than feasible. Our course fee was well below par, making it one of the most affordable professional programs in the region. Our university is providing the financially challenged students to fulfil their dreams of higher studies. College is pretty affordable in terms of day to day expenses as well.
Campus Life
Numerous workshops and activities are organised quite frequently in our college. Many esteemed corporate professional are invited to deliver guest lectures on a latest issue or latest development. These workshops were literally informative, especially in order to keep up with the rapidly changing corporate landscape.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is also provided by the college for both boys and girls. Hostel seat allocation is done on the basis of first come, first serve basis. Students get a homely atmosphere inside the campus, especially the mess food is damn good.
Admission
Entrance to the MBA program is granted on the basis of merit. Students willing to pursue MBA from the VISIT college have to appear for the entrance exam organised by the JNTU, Kakinda. Shortlisted candidates are then invited for the counselling process. After which students are granted admission. The entire process was pretty smooth.
Faculty
Faculty was pretty accommodating and supportive. We gained a lot from their experience. All of them had an ample of experience which they shared with us, providing us a first hand experience. Overall the method of teaching was unique and included lectures delivered via presentations, assignments, case studies, etc.
