RD Engineering College Ghaziabad, B.Tech, Computer Science and Engineering

Reviewed on Oct 13, 2020(Enrolled 2019)

Remarks

I choose this college as this was the nearest College to my home. And i had heard about this college from many friends and relatives. I have completed 1 year in this college. You can get admission very Easily even by sending them a Email. There are some Pros and cons of every college..- Pros: The Only focus in this college is on Your academics. There are Periodic Test on Every Monday of 2 subjects. If you score Low in them, the college will arrange Extra Classes for them In evening after College time. No teacher Misses his/her lectures......So no free lectures???? Cons: Only focus is on academics...so no Sports or any Extra Curricular activities. You have to be in your Classes attending lectures i.e you cannot easily bunk classes???? Rules and regulations are very strict in this college Hope this review will be helpful for you?????

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as i wanted to be a Software Developer and this college fully concentrate on studies, so i choose this. Every class has around has around 40-50 students. And teachers are also Well educated and Cooperative too. The Periodic test are held on Every Monday''s of 2 subjects which covers the Syllabus you have studied in the previous week. So if you regularly attend the lectures of every subjects, you can easily pass them.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

From 5th semester the students are eligible for the campus placement. And i will say this college is well known for its campus placements. My plans are also for Campus placement as a software developer.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is moderate as compared to most of the private colleges these days. Scholarship is also available for the students who cannot easily pay the fees. And you can pay the Yearly fees in installments and that's the good thing you can get.

Campus Life

2.5

All types of Books are there in the library related to your course. Also the college provides the Book bank to the students. There is also a stationary shop in the campus. Sports and extra curricular activities are less as the main focus of the college is only on studies.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam
