A student friendly college

Admission procedure for this college is through KEAM entrance exam. Students getting ranks up to 40000 can get admission. Spot admission is also there. Students can get seat in any of the quotas- merit, management or NRI. KEAM exam dates and guidelines are listed in portal : www.cee.kerala.in. It is usually done in between april and june every year.

The college is having a curriculum under Kerala Technological University. With the approval of AICTE and UGC, it is privileged with national level certification of btech programme. The faculty:student ratio is higher compared to other colleges. Most of the professors and staffs are highly experienced and educated with even PhD level in btech. So their teaching method is very good and understandable. Each semester has 2 series exams where internal marks are calculated. So sufficient marks and care according to student's caliber is given by the faculties.

There are off campus internships every year from 2nd year onwards. Paid as well as unpaid. Certification, letter of recommendation, and bonus perks are the main advantages.

During 4th year campus placements arrive. And many get placed in top tier companies. More opportunities for CS branch. Most of the companies have packages up to 50000/month. There is a shortage of alumni as it is a young campus. But, the job opportunities after graduation is quite good.

Fees are comparatively low as it is government controlled. Approx.30000 for merit, 50000 for management and 1 lakh for NRI. Many scholarships are available there for meritorious and poor students. If you are an SC/ST student, you can get free btech certificate without any fees. Only pay 5000 per annum. Internships are plenty out there through internshala and other agencies.

Aranmula engg college conducts a tech fest called Darpan annually. During which all other students from different schools and colleges come to see the tech exhibitions and program. There is arts fest, sports meet, fresher's day, onam celebration, christmas celebration, and many more programs. Library consists of all the books needed for a btech aspirant. They are neatly arranged. The class rooms are improving very fast since the starting year 2014. Within such short period, the college attained a massive development. There are startup societies like IEDC and IEEE. NSS volunteership make students much more productive.

To get admission in merit quota you need to attend KEAM entrance. Only that much needed. No GDs and interviews.
