Remarks

The college management is pretty good, the teachers are very helpful. The only thing that needs a little look into is that since the college is located in Odisha sometimes the Odia population tends to be a bit dominating initially. As time passes things become very cordial and friendly.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is at par with the other Top Tier B-Schools in the country. The course is for 2 years and is divided into 4 semesters with a 1 month gap in between the 2nd and 3rd semester in order for students to complete their summer internships. There are various specialisations offered from the 3rd semester and students can go in for a dual specialisation MBA (The choices include Marketing, Finance, HR, IT, Operations to name a few). My batch of 2013 saw 100% placements even though the market conditions were not ripe at that time

Placement Experience

4

The college provided internships to students in companies like Vodafone, Omfed, XL Dynamics, etc. Students have to liberty to select internships by themselves provided they must be taking permission in writing from the college.Placement seasons begins from 3rd Semester and the college provides special classes to the students relating to placement such as Quantitative Aptitude sessions, Mock GD?s and Mock PI?s, the placement itself has many companies of repute such as Deloitte, Infosys, ITC, HP, Tech Mahindra, TCS, collegeate Palmolive, Redinton India, etc visiting the campus for placement drives.

College Events

4

The college has many clubs such as Marketing Clubs, Finance Clubs, Creative Clubs, HR Clubs, etc which organises various seminars, events and workshops. The student body also organises cultural events such as the annual college fest, the intra section championship as well as social activities such as camps and other drives

Fee Structure And Facilities

The mode of payments are generally through drafts and online. The fees is a bit on the higher side however since the fee includes boarding, fooding as well as education and other elements such as study materials, wi-fi and AC classrooms, the fees is justifiable

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed an education loan from SBI, I had to submit all the necessary documents such as Prospectus, Admission Letter, Break-Up of Fee Structure as well as the receipts that I got when registering my seat in the college

Campus Life

The campus life is pretty chilled out. Campus 7 where the MBA school is located is one of the most beautifully maintained campuses in the university. The gender ratio is more or less equal and people from all parts of India (Particularly Eastern India) come here for studies. There are various events such as Conclaves, Workshops and Fests which are held each year

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are separate for boys and girls and the rooms are allotted on a twin sharing basis. No additional rentals need to be paid for the same. The rooms are pretty big with two sets of cup-boards, tables and beds provided for the students. The wardens maintain strict protocols relating to security.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students were very helpful and provided insights on relating to industry exposure and future as a whole. The college also has a robust alumni network and organises Alumni meets across India every few months.

Admission

I gave CAT and applied to the College, the college also has its own entrance exam called KIITEE. This was followed by an Interview process. The authorities invite the students for the interviews in batches so the entire day does not get ruinedThis college is well known in Eastern India and was known to provide placements to all the students

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college is a good mix of professors hailing from education spheres to faculty coming in with experience of working in the corporate set-up. Some of the faculty such have had working experiences in companies such as ITC hence they bring a lot of insight for the students who are on the verge of starting their careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The pedagogy is excellent since majorly learning is through real-world case studies, reserach papers, peer discussions and interactive class activities. The professors provide materials and pre-reads at the starting of the term and the content is highly focussed on practical learning. The AI sessions are enriching. The difficulty level of exams vary among the instructors but usually is aligned with topics already taught.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
