It will change you from all the directions inside out into a better person

The course curriculum is full of fillers which are definitely not needed but when I realise that those things are helping me excel in almost any sector so its definitely worth learning about things with which you have not even dreamt of dealing with.The college is helpful in funding projects with an immense of resources as the practical labs inside the campus help to be more inventive inclined.The reason for reaching milestones in various sectors is because of the practicality I learn from SRM

The only college focussing on personality development from the first semester itself is SRM which is the greatest and coolest thing and when you set your foot for the very first time in the industry you will embrace each one of those classes which is held once a week. Companies come in as pirates to fetch each and every healthy fish which can work for them and the placements are almost 100 percent unless until you are not a healthy fish which is also rare now as even students with arrears/backlogs are scoring high pay jobs Few Giant companies which came are Google, Worksapplication, Microsoft and almost any other fortune company.

The events run by the SRM should rather be engraved as festivals in SRM handbook as it is very colorful, full of energy and knowledge expanding.Few of the events are Aarush, paneka and just counting and out of all the events there is a annual event Milan,uniting all the students from various colleges in Tamil Nadu,having the opportunity to socialise with the people of different expertise and mindset.Among all these mindfilling things SRM has its own way of giving the students a vacation inside a paradise with National and International artist playing music on DJ night to celebrate and rejoice.

Thats where all the eyes stops, because living inside heaven take a big piece to lose. As I was under merit I still had to pay tution fees of 1.5 every year for four years with hostel fees of 1 lakh every year and other fees including 5 lakhs in all and there is a clear breakdown of fees structure provided by the college.

The college has several ways to reward student for what they deserve and it called scholarship. The college cover all ranging from needy to disabled in every way it can to almost 100 percent scholarship in few cases.

The campus is filled with all kinds of gender, from hetero to homo from straight to complex giving the freedom and provinding a safe haven for the younger generation. It has its own temple, mosque and a prayer hall, fully equipped labs, specialised departments focussing each on different sectors like space, robotics, etc and the only thing the college lacks is the exercise of voting and politics which I think has its own merits, if you can relate to what I mean.

There are plently of hostels from 3 sharing to 4 sharing, from AC to non AC, from domestic to international and a large pool of PGs and great posh rental houses just beside the campus. Both campus and the hostels are filled with plently of water filtration systems with cooling system attached, ample of security,food spots all over the campus and a night canteen which basically provides everything

The festivals and the culturals helped to create and maintain a healthy bridge between the predecessors and the successors

I chose Electronics and communitcation as it was two in one,highly valued course considered at that particular point of time provided the students excel in both hardware side and the software side. The best thing about SRM is that you dont get homesick as it is full of liveliness and the only college campus where you feel like living inside a corporate serenity. I am glad to the date that I took the SRM entrance examination and went for the counselling where I got my desired branch and on the same fees for the hostel were paid as well.

Our class started 8.45 in he morning having 8 lectures in a day for the first year and later on varied accordingly.The professors are young and passionate with a sprinkle of old school professors every here and there in all departments to balance the heirarchy.Most of the professors are postgraduated in Mtech with industry driven having first hand experience in industries which helps students to relate to outside world.
