Remarks

None. From a student's perspective, the nature of the College atmosphere was feasible and good education. Though it was important to get more grades. And much emphasis be put on studies. The necessity was on scoring the percentage as against research-oriented.

Course Curriculum Overview

My subjects were PCMB. I scored 81% during my first year. Since the teaching was good, I did not go to tuitions. And relied on academic education for good scores. The studies was research oriented. Since it was crucial, the education imparted stayed on, for future assembly of events. There were activities regarding the curriculum.

Placement Experience

4.5

None. There were other courses pertaining to the higher studies and graduation. Which, though related to the curriculum, remained far-fetched.

College Events

4.5

Sports Day, Annual Day, Ethnic Day. My hobbies were music and essay writing. Active participation was advocated throughout the year. The Study routine was regular, and tallied with the cultural events. Management festivals were confined to graduation.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is feasible. There are no additional fees in order to secure admission and as per the curriculum. The college does not provide transparency in fee-breakdown. As per the strict guidelines, the fees paid was reliable. The studies-oriented strategy was encouraged.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not opt for scholarship or educational loan, during College. I had answered NTSE Exam for which I was a state level Scholar.( 36th rank).

Campus Life

Jyothi Nivas College is a Regular college. It is not co-education. It was natural to keep track of events that was held in the College. The curriculum imparted, though untelligible during the time, it was helpful in the decision- making and career guidance. Also the Moral Philosophy classes proved encouraging.

Alumni/Alumna

None. It is unconnected with the alumni. It is a growing experience. The studies guide us to associate with higher living.

Admission

I got admission by merit list. The admission begins with the academic year. Since it was state syllabus I opted for science subjects. I chose the College because the conveyance was easier. The admission begins with the July Cycle. I studied here from 1998 to 2000.

Faculty

4

My subjects, including language had many teachers. My attendance was 100%. The career decision had to be influenced by the teaching. The subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology I cleared without backlogs. The basic rules of student life were followed and the academic events had the right impact on the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
