Remarks

The management was bad initially, but it improved once they took the dental staff for preparations.

Course Curriculum Overview

Day to day clinic management knowledge was provided by the college, which generally isnt given be professors. Things have stuck in my head 10 years on. I like writing so there is book on amazon THE TOOTHFUL TALE which tells my one year in the collge.

Placement Experience

5

1 year compulsory internship. Then you can put your own clinic. The internship is a blast. Its up to the student on how many patients he can do.

College Events

5

Fest and sports. Alternatively per year. I wasn't into either, but the management handles it pretty well. There is an auditorium on campus as awell as a a garden and a sports ground. Over all these events are held over 10 days per year. Outsiders are not allowed.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Payments by cheques or digital transfer. My fees wad 1. 4 laksh per year in 2004. The breakdown is given on paper and explained. There are fines for damage to property and equipment and receipts are given. Overlall th3 college is lenient, but that dosent meean that students do what they like.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarship for extremely poor or brilliant students. The management will give a better understanding of the process.

Campus Life

70: 30 girls: boys. There are more girls in yhe class than boys. The campus is well protected and secure. There is a medical collge too on campus. Plus there are assistant training colleges too. There will never be dearth of students and company. There arent any parties allowed.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they help and are friendly. But most of them won't be of much help as the college campus has changed drastically in the past 10 years.

Admission

I had no other option. It was biotech or dental. Taking bio in class 12 was the thing which sealed my fate. But one month into the college and it has become inseperable part of my life. I had missed the seat but a student left cos she couldn't cope with the study. Then the college called us up.

Faculty

4.5

They are good. The real skill in dentistry is people skills. They taught us those. The staff now though is from south india. We had a casual dress code at our time. The southies have made it formal. All of the staff is MDS so they have enough knowledge to rub off on the students. They will teach to their best.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It covers the core subjects like programming languages (C, Java, Python basics), data structures, DBMS, networking, and web development, providing a basic foundation in computer applications. However, the curriculum may not be fully up to date with current industry trends like advanced Python, cloud computing, machine learning, or modern frameworks. In terms of comprehensiveness, it is suitable for beginners, but students aiming for competitive placements or tech roles will need to supplement it with online courses, certifications, or personal projects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is more inclined towards a theoretical side and lacks practical exposure. In the present scenario, having practical knowledge is a must if you want to survive in the industry, which my college didn't prepare me for. However, there are various opportunities across the campus. We have AIC inside the campus, which may offer an internship to the students if they reach out to them.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
