A friend of mine refferd and the thing i loved was the atmosphere and infrastructure, If you are a person who loves to be in a peaceful surrounding and a silent library this is the place to be. I opted for mechanical engineering as i had interest in automobile and manufacturing sector, however the core companies do not visit the campus as it is quite oddly located.

Academics is an improvement area and neeD to really focus on practical learning. Practicals were rarely organized and no industrial exposure from college. Student need to arrange their own internship and industrial course. Faculties are quite average and education system is very outdated. However there was few faculties that were beyond good. Dr. D.R Biswal - HOD Mechanical is one of the best faculties.

I had done Internship in Byjud thr learning app as a business development Trainee and got a stipend of 25000. To apply one must visit the site - www.byjus.careers and apply there, after that you will receive a call back and a telephonic discussion is done following a video session

Few companies that visited are IMS PEOPLE, STFC, INFINITE SOLUTIONS, FEDERAL BANK, WONJIN AUTOPARTS. The placement cell is supportive and helpful. The profile they offer is GET- Graduate engineering Trainee.

Campus is full of facilities, the only downside is the campus life and campus placement. You have all the facilities be it gym, sports complex, swimming pool, soccer field, basketball field but there won't be anyone to play and looking at it seems it's not used since ages. Every year during the month of February a fest is organised - Vasantika Tech fest for Engineering Student and Avantika for management, Chalantika for Diploma. A tech fest is organised namely Driest.

There is no scholarship as such, you might get a small discount on tuition fee is you have good scores, the discount amount can be around 18000. The only scholarship program i heard was of state government and people belonging to OBC AND Sc/ST category for that also the process was quite hectic and there is no saying that you might get. For general categories there was no scholarship program.

Hostel accommodation is good, You get a triple sharing room. The room is quite big in size with seperate study table but no cupboard facilities to keep luggage. Its non- ac and no facilities incase you want one. Wi-fi is available and water cooler. Mess is quite far from hostel.
