Cyril Naveen Chandran's Review On Sir Theagaraya College, Chennai

Our college precious place for me. I want to convey the information to the management to make a On campus drive for the current studying students.

No Entrance Exam only personal interview with 12th marks Particularly, I choose this college was to join NCC and the college was near by my home with in 3 kms.

In our college no more companies came and the college students doesn't know about the internship programme. After the college period only we known about the internship programme and we are now giving opportunity to our college students to do an internship. We offered general stipend Min Rs 2K and Max Rs 5K.

Sorry our college was stayed at North Chennai. No one of the companies still now not recruitment on campus drive. But our students are placed in top companies through off campus or walk in only like maersk,tcs,cognizant,CMACGM.

Department wise sports and annual meet celebration. NCC team as celebrated separately Independence Day,Republic Day and Annual Day Celebration. Especially NCC Annual Day celebration was extraordinary. Our Group Commander and Army PI staff were participated in this function on every year.

Here the government scholarship available. Category wise given by the state government scholarship for the students like SC,ST,BC only even any student were studying first graduate in his,her family 25% extra from primary scholarship.

In our campus the students all around at any time with in the college time. Most of the students were forming group and spoke any topics or debate with friends at campus ground some one take a rest under the tree shadow also.

Here no hostel facilities and mess,Even canteen also not available. Because some time the students were start fighting or giving any trouble means first the canteen only getting damage.

In examination time all the students were not fear because they write an exams through the generally not memorization of syllabus studies. All the subjects were learning with generally only. On that things we are wrote the exams as general through current affairs.

Most of them are doctorate lecturers in our college. In each department we have 3 more Ph.D lecturers were working. In our commerce depertment very enthusiastically teaching to the students but some faculty was so bored especially,Accounts faculty in our dept. 4 lecturers out of these lecturer only one is so bored and never understand.
