Life changing experience

My course was a 3 years fashion designing undergraduate course which gave me a sense of creativity in fashion designing along with marketing and management. It is divided into 6 semesters teaching every component of fashion like fashion illustration, draping, craft documentation etc. Assignments are based on research, study tours and field trips.

Career opportunities for a fashion design student are vast. Creating your own brand or working for another brand, personal stylist and the list goes on. Every year, we gets recruiters from one of the highest ranked brands like Calvin Klein, H&M, Tommy Hilfiger, Decoded Fashion etc.

In this Institute, many events takes place such as celebration of festivals, workshops, seminars, campaigns and activities like visits to different industries. Activities for better learning and to get a idea of performance of the students like costume design, fabric painting workshops are also conducted.

Fee structure of this college is not very expensive. For my 3 year course it is ?1,80,000 per year. For a fashion designing course in an amazing Institute like this with all the events and campaigns taking place, in my opinion, it seems to be valid.

JD Institute of fashion technology has a very large and spacious campus. They organise various events and workshops for which they require a very large field. The Institute has more ratio of girls than boys. But even though girls outshine boys in almost every field, performance of boys in relation of fashion is appreciable.

To get admission here, for an undergraduate course, you must have completed 12th in any discipline and in postgraduate course, you must have a bachelors degree in any stream. You just have to apply by filling the form given on the official site with your details.

Faculty is really amazing and supportive. It is filled with experienced and at the same time young professors. They are qualified in their respective fields are are concerned and understanding with the students.
