Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is government affiliated and the course is hence designed with a lot of discipline. The exams are also conducted frequently by the college according to the academic calendar. The course is overall very absorable.

Placement Experience

Yes, our college encourage us for internships and want us to have an industrial exposure. The placements offered by our college is also amazing. The placement cell is very dedicated and hard-working for us to have a better future.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees for our college is not that expensive. A fees of Rs. 1.6 lakh is charged for the total four-year B.Tech course. It is a meagre amount compared to the facilities and provisions provided by our college

Campus Life

The infrastructure of our college is nice, big and amazing. It is well facilitated with a library packed with courses books, well- equipped labs, well-maintained classrooms, canteen, etc. We enjoy a lot in our college.

Admission

Based on my marks secured in 10+2 examination a merit list was prepared and published in the official website of the college. After that I had to submit all the necessary documents in the college and eventually got admitted.

An Institution That Truly Support Students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for BCA (AI & ML) at PIET is designed according to current industry standards. It focuses on practical learning through internships and hands-on exposure through mentorship program and industry visits. The aspect which made me choose PIET over other colleges is the strong industry collaborations, as PIET has MoUs with organizations such as ICT Academy and Code Quotient Mohali. These collaborations provide us opportunities to participate in training programs, workshops, and seminars.

Placement Experience:

During a college event, i met two of many seniors, and they told me that they got jobs in big MNCs, one in Zomato and the other in Genpact, and all this is faciliated by the Office of Career services. the Office of Career services guides us right from the start of the semester. Top companies actively visit the campus to recruit students. Through these placements, students get the oppotunity to work industry leaders and help them by contributing to meaningful projects.

My cousin was in the same course i opted for at JSJC, and he is currently working at a PR agency as a senior editor. All this is possible because of the efforts of the Office of Career Services. Yes, the campus placements are provided. The students are eligible to do internships after six semester. The highest offered package is about 10,00,000 per annum, and the average package is 5,40,000 per annum. In my batch, all the students are placed. At present, I am doing internship at Honda Car India Limited and want to continue in this company at least for three years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my course is related to medical field the curriculum of BAMS course attracted me a lot because it focuses on both modern and ayurvedic aspect of treatment of different diseases. The curriculum prepares me fully for treating the disease in the real world and becoming a successful doctor. There are some areas of improvement need to be taken in the curriculum is that the modern and ayurvedic techniques should be interlinked and the faculty need to make the students understand how they can treat any disease by using both the knowledge in a practical way. The exam timing is 3 hour per exam and frequency of exams is twice a month.
