Remarks

The college provides one of the best pharmacy training in all of India. It has high reputation for its modernised labs, well updated syllabus and highly qualified faculties. Thats why I chose this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is great. Ot is highly research oriented. Regular practicals are conducted in the highly modernised labs which help in overall learning and understanding of pharmacy course. It also helps us to think out of the box.

Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities are immense. Many large companies like Medicana, Apollo Hospitals, NetMeds etc visit the college to hire students. There are many internship opportunities available too. Many of my batchmates also began startups of their own!

College Events

The campus life is great and friendly. The college organises many grand cultural fests which are a treat to the students. There are youth fests, deepawali mela etc. Exhibitions are also quite commonly organised.

Campus Life

The campus is quite big and green. The campus is clean and well maintained. There is a huge library in the building, consisting of a plethora of books. The college also pays a lot of attention to sports.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are great and cost friendly. They provide good quality food with non vegs twice a week, RO water which is safe for drinking and all time electricity supply. There are also a lot of PGs available if you can't find a hostel.

Admission

The entrance is based on +2 marks. If you score 75% in 12th exams from science or commerce stream, you'll easily get admission here.

Good College with Supportive Faculty and Decent Placements

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists
