Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of the college is quite good and there is a lot of research focus since its forensic and various group discussions and projects are given to the students so that they can interact and learn how to work as a team.

Placement Experience

There are literally no placement opportunities for the students in the campus and also internships are very rare but usually students try to find internships on their own. The college does prepare the students for interviews .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is feasible. The charge to around 13000 rupees as tuition fees and maintenance and examination fees for one year. The fees might vary for different years. But it is still feasible since there is hardly 500 or 1000 rupees increment

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college does not offer any scholarships to the students. since the fees is quite feasible I don't have any scholarship opportunities but students who cant afford can avail state scholarships scholarship for National level.

Campus Life

The college has a good campus and auditorium and conducts events and fests for the students. all the festivals are celebrated and there are various associations, Societies and clubs as well for the same

Admission

You first have to fill the application form which can be done online and offline and the admission is on the basis of merit and also your application. They go through everything and then decide whether you deserve or not

Faculty

The faculty of the college is impressive. All the professors are very good and they know a lot about there subject and teach students as much as they can and as easy as it can be. They are friendly and very understanding

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Students are eligible to apply for placements after 5th semester and many companies visit our college every year providing job opportunities. Name of the some of the companies visited this year are JSW STEEL, TATA STEEL, TATA POWER, Larsen and Toubro , etc. They provided on average of 15-20 offers for students . Average package was 5lpa and highest being 10lpa for student who got placed in TATA STEEL. They are offered jobs as site Junior Engineer. About 50% students got placed. I am planning to continue my studies further and completing B.Tech

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the beginning of my 11th and 12th standard I'm very fond of Physics and mathematics that's why I choose to persue honours in physics and also there are more opportunities and jobs after bsc in physics compared to other streams. In bokaro steel city college the faculty: student ratio is not that great(1 per 250 students) as it is managed by state government. The qualification of teachers is above average (Almost every teacher has a P.hd) but the quality of teaching is not that great. Teachers often miss there classes and there way of teaching is very boring. On usual exams are taken in a interval of 6 to 8 months. But due to covid situation the exams got very much delayed l mean upto 10 to 12months. If you can complete the syllabus just by having few glances of the topics and follow the previous year question its quite easy to pass the examination by securing good marks. But most of the students always fail (almost 50% every semester).

Bigger with smaller.

Firstly i have filled the form offline through gmail process and by giving cuet and after that the provisional merit list came out and i went to college. After that a small interview was taken and till evening the admission process was completed who passed in the interview and final merit list was declared. Application fees was 450. There should be some improvements in admission process of the notifications we do not get notifications soon as the site is not being operated properly regularly....Read More
