Course Curriculum Overview

There are 90 seats for the diploma course of three years. The course is hence well designed and simple for the students to understand in first hand. Deep knowledge about the subject is rendered through the course.

Placement Experience

We have an outstanding placement cell in our college. A package of about 6 lakh is offered to the students every through the on-campus recruitment procedure. Internships are also encouraged by the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A total fees of Rs. 62,975/- is charged by the college for the three-year diploma course in civil engineering. According to me the fees is not at all expensive and less than many colleges offering the same standard of education.

Campus Life

All good, there is a huge scope for extracurricular activity as the college encourages the students in many fields of sports like cricket and football. All labs according to there course are available on the college campus like the mechanical lab, civil lab and many as such.

Admission

Passing my 10+2 examination, I was eligible for the Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination (P.E.C.E.), conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). After securing a desired rank I was admitted to the college for my diploma course.

We have an amazing faculty in our college. The professors are all likely to support us and guide us through the subject. The pros and cons of the industry is also elaborated to us for future references.

Good environment supportive faculty health compilation student must get good exposure, university have letest NAAC A+ grading
Campus Life nice big campus great environment belongs to nature you can find beautiful seen trees pound mountain good academic infrastructure big library, time to time program in campus restore our culture and tradition
Good and recognised faculty use modern methods of teaching including ICT in teaching learning provide support and guidance form faculty, student from different state take admission in university making more diverse and integrated environment

Dislikes

Placement, there is no such fixed placement average package is around 6laks anual
Not really good for Sports there no such dedicate cricket ground football ground all are in single field university not focus on sports activities
In my course tight schedules from 9 to 5 classes make students feel exosted and boored

I rate 9 out of 10 to my course curriculum Improve soft skills communication build confidence Learn extracurricular activities dance cultural panting ICT etc. Curriculum is designed for modern challenges for upcoming teachers make each student degital ready our curriculum is based on nep 2020 so it design to tackle problem faced by teachers Exam are on time after 6month Not really difficult to clear an average student can easily score 70 percent marks

Campus location is good but there is shortage of shops.
Professor are good and supportive and you can keep bike sk questions whenever you needed.

Dislikes

Mess food is not so good and if you taking hostel it is compulsory to take mess
Transpotation facility is not so good and you

Placement Experience:

From third semester students are allowed for internship and about the placement is about 5 to 6 lpa .Many students here are preparing for government exam like gate ,ies isro ,barc etc. And if you are not satisfied by placement from campus you can try off campus.

At the starting phase of college , we have a beautiful campus (which is not ours actually , its on rent ) loacted at Namkum, Ranchi. known as JUT campus, but after that things are not good.
Some what I liked the sports culture, but we don't have any sports Club yet.

Dislikes

Placements(actually there are students who are the coordinators for the placement group , there is no any particular advisor or any TPO head is there earlier...now there is one TPO coordinator but things are becoming worst there.
No grounds for any sports, we don't have badminton court indoors, so we have to wait for wind to settle before we can play outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually my branch is Electronics and communication engineering but my major interest lies in development area , i have gained all the skills in my college by my own taking some guidance from the seniors as they are very helpful and supporting. Improvements in course curriculum could be like they have to basically add one more course or any training program to help students for making skills and teaching them for their placements.(apart of the course , i am saying not because i am from ECE department , its common from any branch student)

Likes

I like their rules and regulation of college.
I like the annual sports, event, and cultural program.
Regular classes, labs, and time to time internal exams

Dislikes

Thing that I don't like is hostal cleaning, mesh food.
I think there is more rules and regulation for senior boys hostels.
From senior boys hostel they pass some comment to the girls

The curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the proper mindset from the class I chose to study btech. The areas for improvement in the course curriculum are more labs to be conducted proper smart classes to be held.

Placement statistics In 2024, the highest package offered at BIT Mesra was around INR 52 LPA. The average package offered in 2024 was around INR 17.5 LPA for BTech CSE, INR 16 LPA for ECE, and INR 11.5 LPA for EEE. The placement rate in 2024 was 75% for CSE, 60% for ECE, and 69% for EEE.

A big campus and an ever resonating campus life
Excellent and helpful faculty members with deep knowledge in their subjects
High quality computer labs along with a supercomputer

Dislikes

Hostel food service, quality and hygiene
Slow and stammering WIFI connection which also gets lost sometimes
A little unhygienic and sometimes not well cleaned washrooms

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

Remarks:

The reason I chose this college was that it was considered the best private engineering college in Jharkhand. Also, it is located in a city where there are a lot of opportunities for an engineering student that is Jamshedpur, Ratan Tata's homeland. Also, the placement is better than the other private colleges. This year,the maximum package went upto 10 lakhs which is a good amount of money I guess.

Eligibility criteria - you have to pass your 10th standard with 60% of aggregate marks. How to apply - first you have to qualify for the examination of jeceb in which your rank will decide whether you get into this college or not.
