Course Curriculum Overview

I am pursuing my diploma degree in bakery and confectionery. Our college provides a 1 year, 6 months course in this field. Our course curriculum is well updated and very interesting. It provides a blend of both fun and learning.

Placement Experience

5

Our college has good tie-ups with some of the best hotels and hospitality industries in India. A high percentage of students get recruited every year with an average salary package of 3 lakhs. Top companies like - Roseate, Hyatt, Lemon Tree, ITC, KFC etc, visit our campus for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our institution charges a nominal rate for it's courses. My course fee is INR 45,542 for a duration of 1year, 6 months, which is a very petty amount vis-a-vis the quality of education and other facilities provided to us.

Campus Life

Our college highly encourages us to take part in the different extracurricular activities conducted by our college. We organize an inter college Sports tournament where we get consistent success every year. In addition, our HOD also conducts educational tours and industrial visits.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a pretty good rapport with our seniors and alumni members. They are highly supportive and approachable. We have immense mutual respect for each other. Moreover, we also conduct an Alumni Meet every year.

Admission

Our college issues application form which needs to be duly filled by the aspirants. The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for any diploma course is to secure a pass marks in the 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects. Admission is done on the basis of candidate's performance in the +2 exam.

Faculty

4.5

We have some of the best faculty members in our college. Our department has 5-6 professors who are highly skilled and adequately qualified. They support us in every possible way. They have also updated their teaching methods as per the latest trends.

Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course will be completed on time, but you'll not get taught as you expected. The teaching techniques are boring, and you'll have difficulty. They charge you 2000 rupees as late fees for submission and so on, for the late exam fees as well. There are a lot of unnecessary fees that they will apply once you get admission there

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives
