Course Curriculum Overview

SJC has a course curriculum of a decent level. In my first year of the course, I learned some of the basics precisely. The laboratories are well equipped and clean. Also, the exam structure is understandable.

Placement Experience

The college keeps on organizing numerous programs and workshops to enlighten the students regarding the future scope. I have also seen many big names coming into the college for placement. Students who passed out from the college are doing really great as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the entire course is not very expensive and I faced no difficulty for its submission. The amount payable for 3 years B.Sc zoology course is 7605 INR. This includes the tuition fees and other fees of the entire course.

Campus Life

The college organizes numerous activities with sports, workshops, and cultural programs. I have also taken part in many of them. Also, no differentiation on the basis of any category is allowed in the college.

Alumni/Alumna

I was quite scared when I was about to join the college as everything was new to me, but after meeting my seniors, all my fear vanished. They have helped me to understand the college regulations precisely. They have also been very supportive and encouraging in all aspects.

Admission

The admission process in the college is not very complex. The entire selection criteria involves clearing 10+2, counselling, and merit list. In short, the selection is based on the merit list entirely.

The professors and the lab assistants are qualified and very polite. All the lectures are very helpful for learning. The guest faculty is also very good and qualified. I really like attending the classes and the college ambiance.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

Choices for a better future

I only applied to this college from my Sir's recommendation along with my senior. This college have a good facility to learn, to do lab, & to refer, the library facilities are too good.
