The course is well-formed and well researched. It is formulated to provide psychiatric care to the community in terms of awareness, screening, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of psychiatric disorders.

The institute provides a decent number of temporary jobs with stipends that can be taken to develop experience and understanding of the field. One can also opt for higher studies or take up an internship in a hospital or medical institution.

The fee for the course per annum is around 33-36 lakhs. The course is for a duration of three years. Additional expenses might include transport charges, food charges, accommodation fees, and many others.

Medical facilities in terms of Doctor?s consultations are available every day for 2 hours at the campus and once in a week in the Girls Hostel. The doctor is also available on call to take care of general and specific ailments. Psychologist visits twice in a week in the campus to counsel the students.

I got admission to the college through a counseling round conducted on merit basis of the marks obtained in the NEET PG Examination. The minimum eligibility criteria are that a student should have obtained a recognized MBBS degree and should have a 50% percentile in NEET.

Our teachers impart such knowledge skills that may enable us to diagnose and treat common psychiatric disorders, handle psychiatric emergencies, and refer cases for comprehensive management under specialists care whenever necessary.
