Remarks
It's a good institution for doing the diploma course. It is located in a very remote environment, far from the distractions of the city which is a very plus point. It is a student friendly campus and ragging free as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of diploma in automobile engineering of the college is very vast. Since it is a very rare course, it requires a lot of practical knowledge and implementation of it. The course study is divided into 6 equal semesters which starts from the very basics and moves forward to the highly professional.
Placement Experience
Placement was good in my batch. 70 out of 100 students got placed in some companies like Tata,Mahindra, etc. I too work in the same company in which I got placement by the college. internship are not offered by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the college is very reasonable and affordable. I remember during my time the admission fee is was approximately 45,000 rupees. And the fees per semester was near about 25,000 rupees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The government provides scholarship to the students who are OBC SC or ST. and scholarships are also provided to those students who are the toppers of the class. Loan facilities are also available by the college.
Campus Life
Most of our extracurricular activities were used to be held in the forms of workshops. we used to have a lot of automobile related workshops in the college. Apart from all this, we also had sports competition and cultural competition in the college.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't live in hostel because my home is just 15-20 kms from the college but one of my friends lived there. the hostel facilities as described by my friends are really good. The mess provides good and hygienic food, the rooms are neat and clean.
Admission
My home is in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. So I knew about this college earlier only. I wanted to pursue diploma in automobile engineering therefore I decided to take admission here. For admission, I had to sit for the PECE examination. On the basis of the score of the examination, I got admission in the college.
Faculty
In automobile engineering stream, we don't have much faculties as the course is a kind of rare one. But, the ones who are there teach their best to us and put a lot of effort in helping us understand all the theories and practicals.
