The program offers specialization courses in Data Journalism, Print/Broadcast Journalism, Digital Films and Television, Radio, Digital Advertising and Branding, Advertising Planning, Screenwriting, Copywriting, Public Relations & Corporate Communications.
Placement Experience
The college has a placement record that has been very robust at around 80% over the years. Some of the placement partners are BCCI, Big Synergy, Radio Mirchi, Tata Power, Neo Sports, NDTV, and many more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fee for the first year of the college for the course of Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication) is around 3,20,000/- INR. Additional expenses include that of transport, accommodation, etc.
Campus Life
SCMC takes learning beyond desks and chairs and enables the student to venture out for various field visits and educational tours. During the course of these tours, we students are encouraged to imbibe skills and build camaraderie with our batch mates through shared learning.
Admission
I appeared for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) through which I was shortlisted and then asked to appear for a Personal Interview along with the process of Document Verification, after which I got my admission.
Faculty
The teachers incorporate lively theoretical lectures, hands-on practical sessions, tutorials, classroom presentations, and take-home assignments. They provide quality education and create an interactive atmosphere.
