Entrance Preview

CAT, MAT. Its general quantitative and verbal and analytical, reasoning and then personal interview. It went well. Mr Madhukar Angur took my interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was very very strenuous. 2 hours was one lecture and we had 3 in a day. It was more of theoretical than a practical approach. first year was general and second year we can chose an option among Fin, Mar, OPpe and HR.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship elsewhere, not supposed to be in college anyways. Stipend was good, enjoyed the way it went on for 2 months. It was acknowledged very well. It was a period when MBA was booming.

College Events

Cultural festivals were organised every semester, active participation was there. Fests were conducted by management too which was good. Students across participated, There is a hostel on campus which helped most of them for attending operational challenges.

Alumni/Alumna

It was established just a year ago from when I joined. But now alumnus is active. Few seniors are in touch as well. We paid alumnus membership which will connect us with new students as well.

Exam Structure

It was conducted once a semester. We had 3 semesters a year. Most subjected were covered. Attendance had marks which was weird. We had few sessions for each subject so 1 session absent, reduces 1 mark and if we are done with 4, we might fail. It was ridiculous as we had 2 subjects same day.

Pgdm At JAGsom - My Honest Take

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester, We have our internship as IIP. The companies coming are namely, Blackrock, Oxane, Zepto, Informatica and more. The placements are going well for Marketing and Finance. The Highest package is 50lpa and median is 10lpa. But if you stay in top 10-20% in your batch you can get, 13-14lpa. The profiles offered are of management trainee, financial analyst, data analyst, etc. Around 60-70% of the batch gets placed, but cracking interviews for placements is in student's hand.

My brief experience as a MBA student at IZee Business School, Bangalore

Placement Experience:

From third semester itself students are eligible for campus placements. College itself provides internships for students also helping them to cop up with their studies. Companies visited are, Cafe Coffee Day, Cothas coffee, Infosys, Biocon, HCL tech. Highest package they provided is 14 Lakhs and average is 6.5 lakhs. 90% students get placed, 5% students have their own family business and other 5% students start their own business. My plan after getting my degree is to get into one of BIG FIVEs, earn money, build connections for atleast a decade and than start my own business.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for the campus placements from around the 4th trimester (2nd year) onwards. The college placement cell is very efficient and super helpful in providing placement opportunities to the students and always aid them. Companies like Mahindra Finance, Vodafone, Airtel, Nykaa, Wipro, Bosch etc. The average package is around 8 LPA and the highest package offered so far has been 16 LPA. There is nearly 100% placement from the college.
