The curriculum revolves around literature and writings. It is full of readings and it is an easy going curriculum which is a must in this course. However, sufficient focus is also laid upon the examination and practical structure.

Big companies like ICICI Bank, Canara Bank, Axis Bank, Aditya Birla group, Omega Healthcare, Tata etc. visit the campus to hire students. These companies take away many students who match their preferences well.

M.A. (English) at this college costs ?7,700 for the complete two year, full time, on-campus course. It is indeed much less if compared to any other university offering the same course and hence, one must pursue this course if they want.
Campus Life
To inculcate a feeling of oneness and belongingness amongst the students various extracurricular activities are organised throughout the year. These activities include cultural evenings, fests, visits etcetera.
Hostel Facilities
At a minimal cost of ?14,000 the college hostel facility can be availed as it is a pretty affordable cost. The hostels are clean, comfortable and safe for students and one must consider this option over any other accommodation option.
Admission
I did my bachelors' in B.A. (English) and now I'm pursuing the same as currently I am in 2nd year of my M.A (English) course from Alagappa University. It feels surreal as english and literature has always been my area of interest.

The teaching staff of the college is indeed highly experienced and effective. They have contributed immensely to the field of education and it is a pleasure to learn and grow under them. They define the true meaning of education.
