Remarks

You should definitely choose JJ School of Art to pursue any type of fine arts degree. It is difficult to even get into this college, but the level of personalization and care they take for their courses is fantastic.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really good. There are only 5 seats for each specialization so the course can be personalized and altered however you would like it to. No need to worry about assessments, they are not stressful.

Placement Experience

After the course is completed, the s=college does contact a few companies for placement. However, the interest lays in the hands of the artists. A few may prefer jobs but many artists prefer working solo.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees for the Masters in Fine Arts degree are very feasible! You need not worry about this. They are around 25,000 for the entire year. You can finish off the whole course by paying only 50,000 rupees.

Campus Life

There are so many college events. Plus, your social scene will be so fun here in Mumbai. There are always parties and in general something is always going on, so you will have lots of extracurriculars.

Admission

The MFA program has 9 specializations which are specific in detail. This is important as I wanted to get my degree in a very specific course. You can get admission through your merit and your BFA results.

Faculty

Faculty is one of the best aspects about this course. There are only 5 students per stream so there is a great deal of student-professor interaction. This is amazing for this course because you may need more intense interaction for your artwork to flourish.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 4th sem. Many companies visit and at least one person is hired by every company. Companies from UAE and international companies also make offers. Highest package was 9 lpa and average is 3.5-4 lpa. Only 5-10% students go for a job, others go for higher studies. I am too looking for a part time job with continuing higher studies. Overall the campus placement is good for students looking for a good job and pay. Most get hired as Assistant engineers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Microbiology is mainly lab based work but it also teaches you other worldly things , the reason behind me choosing Bsc microbiology to do from ruia is because , once i had a talk to an alumni of ruia in which she mentioned that microbiology from ruia is basucally equal of engineering from an IIT. In microbiology particularly i would say the difficulty level is a bit high but only if you don't pay attention to daily lecs and practicals
