Remarks

Joining this institute is one of an experience, the level of professional competitiveness it offers you is enormous, and the campus feels like one big party despite all the strains and struggles of keeping up with the punishing schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is in sync with the professional requirements of the industry. There are four semesters covering topics ranging from fashion psychology, research methods, fashion journalism, graphics design and design drawing, textile and presentation skills, and history of Indian and global fashion to name a few. The exams are based on practicals, dissertations and written tests.

Placement Experience

5

The institute has an excellent placement cell and the recruiters include the best of the best. The recruiters include Calvin Klein, Dharma Productions, H&M, Harrisons, Pantaloons and LimeRoad, to mention a few. The average package is really good, and most of the students find a job or internship within the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for all courses is pretty high, but all designing schools have similarly expensive fee structures. For my course, I had to pay around one and a half lacs per semester. But when you compare that to the kind of training and placements you are offered, it is really not much to ask for.

Campus Life

The college has a wide range of extracurricular activities for you to choose from. These include seminars, workshops, dissertations, industrial visits, ad campaigns, and fashion runways. The campus is very diverse and inclusive of all races, ethnicity and sexual orientations.

Admission

JD is the premier institute for all kinds of courses in the fashion and design industry. For admissions, you have to apply through the website's official website, and the selection is based on the application form.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is qualified and dedicated, and supplemented by a large number of guest lectures and seminars. The teaching is mostly based on workshops and seminars and there is little scope for conventional classroom teaching.

the course culicurumes of collage of mangemnet of compter science , yavatmal is revalvent and provied good foundation in computer science concept. the curriculum is helpfiul for understanding theoretical concept and basic pratical skills. it prepares student for entry-lavel jobs and further studies like msc or mca, however ,it is more focused on traditionla topices and lacks exposure to morden technolokkgies such as cloud computing , data science, and advance fremworks which are importent in todays industry. the teachinf methods are mostly classroom- based with practical session in labs. overall, the curriculum is decent but needs update to match current industry demands.

The curriculum is extremely outdated. While NLU students are learning about law in thier first year itself, we have to wait till 3rd year for the same thing. A lot of students end up learning more at internships rather than at college
