Remarks

No issues except the one i felt bad nowadays is trees being reduced making CEG a more building block college instead of a more greener one still miss my college canteen.

Entrance Preview

Currently no entrance needed need to apply to TNEA counselling with your HSE marks counselling will happen based on cut off marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

Good pretty well covered the informations about Irrigation planning and agriculture machinery the course also had a good coverage on ground water resources and hydrology.

Internships Opportunities

I havent tried stipend as I did my internships in public works department and other govt sectors and agriculture is more of Govt sector rather than private sector.

Placement Experience

Good we had good placements both in core and also in IT student had enough options to choose their career path as general rules we can hold on IT and one Non-IT offer.

College Events

Agni and techofes are college culturals civilization and krishi are technical symposiums we also had opportunities with kurukshetra, national conference of Irrigation and Drainage, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as its govt college i havent had much burden in my loan repayment for my college expenses i stayed in Hostel and the hostel charges was also pretty comfortable.

I havent availed any since the college being govt college there shouldnt be any difficulties in obtaining a loan.

Campus Life

We had every sort of extra curricular be it a sports or quest or debate or robotics or technical events, etc they really make good participation freq blood donation camp events too.

Hostel Facilities

Mess food was good we had issues in first year though later the contract changed and the food was good we have both vegetarian and non vegetarian menu in mess.

I still continue being in touch with my seniors and juniors its more than a college for us its always been a beautiful memory and still is creating memories.

Exam Structure

It was chilled out we had 3 internal assessments and one semester exam scores will be best of two and semester together converted to 100 and need to pass both in internal assessment and semester.

Faculty

Good they are very friendly and highly knowledgable persons they help students in identifying their area of interests good Industrial visits and planning too.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Experience about College Of Engineering Guindy Chennai

The admission process was so simple for both regular and lateral entry students. The must attain certain cutoff to get admission in CEG. The diploma students can join as lateral entries and they too need certain percentage to get admission. Every department has a specific cut off percentage to join in them. The students can join through counciling process. The counciling process will held separately for regular and lateral entry students. The college fees will be reduced uf the student is a first graduate or belongs to sc/st community. The eligibility condition is a minimum cut-off in physics, chemistry, and mathematics in class 12 board exams. The candidate should have scored a minimum of 50 percent in those subjects if he belongs to the general category. The minimum percentage is 40 percent for the reserved categories. The cut-off marks for the previous years can be seen from the following link: cutoff.tneaonline.org.
