Course Curriculum Overview
The duration of the course was of 3 years. College provided all the facilities to the students. College had a big campus, several laboratories with all the engineering equipments, Library, computer labs, canteen, playground and much more. Definitely I got valuable knowledge here due to all these facilities and outstanding faculty. There was 2 semesters in each year and final theory and practical exam at each end of semester was conducted by the college.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities were best. Several companies of mechanical as well as of computer came to the college and picked up talented students. Most of the students placed in reputed industries such as godrej, Mahindra. Industrial internships were also given by the college for some students. Along with this, aptitude sessions. Mock interviews conducted by the college for students improvement.
College Events
Events were the beautiful part of the college. In jan-feb month events conducted by the college. First of all, technical events arranged to improve students skills. Then.. Cultural festivals, gathering and traditional western days arranged by the college. All the faculty and students participated in it and made it fabulous.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure of the college was feasible as compared to other colleges. The fees of the college was about 30-35 thousands per year. Also Scholarships were available on category basis and for talented students full concession in fees was also available.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were conducted regularly in the college. Tech fest event was arranged every year which was the collaboration of all the technical activities. Also different seminars, workshops, training and placement sessions for overall development of the students conducted by the college. Sports week was also organized once in a year.
Hostel Facilities
I opted for the college facilities in my 3 years of diploma. College hostel was good as well as neat and clean. There were 3 students per room. One hostel was for boys and another was for girls. Rules were quite strict. The fees of the hostel was also affordable.
Admission
Indo Global Group of Colleges is one of the leading institute in Punjab for diploma & Engineering. I completed my 10th and took admission here for diploma in mechanical engineering. I scored 90 % in 10th so easily I got admission here. But Final Selection to the Diploma program will be done on the basis of score in JET Entrance Exam conducted by PSBTE & IT. I also scored good in it & I got admission here.
Faculty
The faculty of the college was genius. They were highly educated and talented. Mostly they were PhD holders. Our principal had about 20 years of experience and he was the best person to lead the Institute. Faculty was understanding and friendly. Sometimes they became strict and rude definitely for our improvement.
