Course Curriculum Overview

The course is completed in 6 semesters. There is theory and practice. We have to take the plant part and mitosis. It helps to learn more about this subject. We visited various botanical gardens of Kerala Agricultural University, NBPGR and various research centers in Kerala

Placement Experience

There are various placements for our course. Visitors recruiters like Wipro and Apollo Place many studets. Thirty students were selected from my batch including me. Teachers and teaching methods are good, so we get good placement

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is possible. The fee, including the PTA fund, is Rs 3,000 per year. Accepting payment in full. There is no additional fee for admission. In addition, reserved categories are also relaxed. Fee structure in the prospectus of Calicut University. We can also investigate with the college.

Campus Life

It is the only college for women. Various clubs such as NCC, NSS and Sports Forestry. Laboratories are great and there will be various competitions to bring out the skills. National service planning is the psychology of social service. National seminars are also organized by various departments.

Admission

Our college is one of the best women's colleges in Kerala and is famous for its sports and academics. The amenities are also excellent. Calicut University calls for admission. Then we can choose a college and course. Admission is based on marks and now it is a college so admission is based on the online application. It is available at www.stjosephs.edu.in.

Faculty

Teachers are eligible for PG and PhD with Net. They are associate or assistant professor. They are also doctoral recipients. Lecturer is a scientist who invented a new species of banana. The paper was published in the National Journal. Apart from the core course, there are also complementary courses in Zoology and Chemistry. Lecturers hold a PhD and have qualifications prescribed by the UGC.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

Good Placement actually depends upon the students only. The crowd inside the college should be highly capable and enthusiastic for learning. The problem at XIME is not the placement but the crowd and quality of students. The college have proper placements process. Centralized placements across the three campuses are followed. Although students need to pass certain criteria to sit in the placements such as maintaining a particular GPA.

Choices for a better future

I only applied to this college from my Sir's recommendation along with my senior. This college have a good facility to learn, to do lab, & to refer, the library facilities are too good. Our library contains around 70,000 books. We can apply in the college website with 100rs application fee. Or we attend several entrance exams. I applied for mar ivanious college TVM and st Joseph and I choosed St Joseph's College irinjalakuda because it was the first women's college in kerala tha provide biotechnology government aided course.
