Course Curriculum Overview

A normal day at ESIC Medical College is quite hectic in nature. The exam structure and course curriculum - both are rigorous and vast in nature respectively. The entire curriculum keeps us busy with the theoretical and practical fields of study and the exams.

Placement Experience

ESIC Medical College provides one year internship which adds as a finishing touch to the entire MBBS course. The internship makes a student completely ready for his/her future endeavours in the medical profession.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure in my case is bit expensive as I have my seat in ESIC Medical College as an All India Quota candidate. The fees for the All India Quota candidates is INR 1,00,000 annually. During the time of admission, the amount to be paid is INR 1,00,000.

Campus Life

Centrally air conditioned buildings houses the extremely well equipped laboratories in ESIC Medical College. The state of the art laboratories ensures outstanding all round academic activity for us throughout.

Admission

ESIC Medical College, affiliated to Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak admits All India Quota students based on NEET score and the online counselling procedure. I appeared for NEET and after securing a decent score in it, went through the online counselling procedure and secured an All India Quota Seat for myself. I always wanted to become a doctor therefore I chose to pursue MBBS.

The faculty at ESIC Medical college is highly qualified and they are very interested to teach us. We also receive guest lectures by eminent professors who come from various parts of the world thus giving us a great learning experience.

UIET MDU Rohtak offers campus placements primarily for B.Tech branches like ECE, with a dedicated Career Counselling & Placement Cell facilitating recruitment by companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and others, though placement rates and packages vary by branch and year. In recent NIRF 2025 data for UG 4-year programs (including B.Tech), 57 out of 80 eligible students were placed with a median salary of ?8.78 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Placement Experience:

Here, the students of the final year are eligible for placements in there respective departments. Basicly many companies visit my college surroundings us which include Wipro, infosis, solatier etc. At least 50 companies visit my college. The highest placement was 22 lpa at Google ang average package is 10 lpa in solatire and other companies . almost 70 percent students get college placement rest apply for off campus and after sometime they also try to fetch jobs. I maily like corporate a lot , so after completing my degree i want to regain a job in any company in gurgaon.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.
