This college provides a good research field to the students interested in it. Although it doesn't have placements, the research labs are very good and the college faculty is very qualified and gives an overall good education experience.

The course curriculum is designed to include topics that come under Organic chemistry Cells and molecular biology, Plant and animal tissues, Biochemistry, Genomics, Microbiology. The labs were conducted frequently.

Biotechnology has a fairly good job scope after bachelors degree. The entire course is based on research work so mainly research institutions show job openings. There weren't any placements on campus. But we had research visits and such.

The course had a fee requirement of 84,000 rupees, that is 28,000 rupees for each year. It excludes the examination and other fee that is required but that is not much. Overall the fee amount is feasible and affordable.

There are some scholarships on academic basis for the students who are really well in studies. They can apply for this scholarship in college itself. Apart form this students can get their own personal educational loans.

There were many events that were conducted in the college throughout the year. This included religious festivals, cultural festivals, inter college competitions and events. There were also good sports and even sports day was conducted every year.

I completed my 12th grade and applied to this college for biotechnology course. I filled an application form and was then contacted by the college authorities to appear for an interview. After clearing the interview I got the admission.

The teachers of the college were very supportive and helpful to us. They cleared all our doubts and also explained the concepts multiple times to ensure that each and every student understood it. They were very qualified in their respective fields.
