The best college for Computer Science

The course subjects are chosen so well and you cannot pinpoint any errors. All the courses are so informative and breathtakingly amaze you how the computer science field has grown so much over the years. The course orientation is towards research and reflects the same while studying those subjects.

I didn't opt for the placements as I was interested in higher studies, but I am also in track of the placements opportunities undergone the period of recruitment drives in the college. For our department there were lots of companies who conducted their placement drives and recruited almost 90% of the batch students.

The fees structure of the college is divided differently for the meritorious and self financing students. As I was admitted on the basis of merit, my fee structure was highly feasible and I didn't face any problem in paying those. My total fees per semester was 1354 INR. I had to also pay a one time caution deposit of 750 INR in the starting of my first year.

The scholarship are given to students who are from the lower community background and for students whose financial status is not supportable to pay the fees. The fees relaxation is also given to students who score well in semesters.

The college conducts lots of events during the academic year. It gives importance to co-curricular as well as academics to shape the overall development of the students evenly. The college has a large playground, a stadium and gym facilities also. Various games like cricket, volleyball, football,badminton etc., are played by the students with active participation.

Yes, there are hostel facilities provided for the college students, but I didn't opt that option. As my home was nearby the college area, I was a dayscholar. But through my classmates and friends I know little about them. The hostel is of okayish type and also rentals was pretty decent.

The alumni network is good. We have lots of alumni who are placed in very good companies and always visit the campus to tell us their experience. The seniors are very friendly and help us out in different situations whenever required.

The admission procedure follows two steps: initially fill the application form and submit it to the college; the second step is to sit back and relax,waiting for the intimation from the college. The college gives admission based on merit and for computer science, you should have scored well in computer science, physics, maths and chemistry.

The faculty of the college are highly experienced in teaching over the few decades. They deliver the subject to all the students in a really wonderful manner. They are all very friendly and always help us to clear the doubts. They support and motivate us to pursue and gain interest to do research.
