Remarks
The biggest advantage of BAOU is that it's an Open University which implies that students can complete the course from the comfort of there homes. This type of open learning is facilitated by online classes and mailed assignments. This distinctive feature of the University also ensures that the fees of almost every course is very less.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is informative and covers a lot of informative topics, mainly the course has British and American literature and it's types. The exams are held at the end of every term and carry 70% weightage whereas the assignments carry 30%.
Placement Experience
The placements are getting better year by year, and the BAOU has a very dedicated placement cell which organizes seminars and placement drives throughout the year, the placements aren't the best but they are getting better.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is very less, the total fees for my course is rupees 3700. The fees is kept so low considering that student's from all walks of life should have an opportunity to join the college. The fees structure is really flexible as well.
Campus Life
There are only a few extracurricular activities at BAOU as it's an open university. The students do have a few students cells which look after the welfare of the students like the Students Cell which provides opportunities for higher education to a large segment of the students and the Statistical Cell.
Admission
The admission process of the college is very smooth and hassle free, the student must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from any recognized university. I had to submit the documents as I fulfilled the eligibility criteria and was selected on the basis of my UG marks.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is amazing and really experienced, the professors are learned and ensure that students understand the concepts quickly. As literature is very in-depth, the professors devote a lot of time to the class in order to help the students.
