Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum was updated as per the latest trend in the market. B.SC Agriculture Hons is a full -time four years course offered by Sardarkrushinagar dantiwada Agricultural University. Subjects were different and interested in each semester. The university also offered B.Sc, M.Sc, Agriculture , Dairy and Food Technology. Hence, the Course Curriculum was relevant for students.Exam Structure of this University was good at that time. Exam Pattern was divided in two categories which included internal exam and external exam organized by the university.
Placement Experience
The Placements of the University are above average. The opportunity in my time were more for job. Most of the students of my batch got placements. The university provided private as well as goverment jobs for the students. The highest package was around 15 LPA. Yes, my college also provided internships for final year students by reputated agri rerlated companies and they offer them a good stipend. I was also selected for an intership and at that time I got 20k as stipend.
College Events
A lot of events were celebrated in my college which were for both students and faculty members. There were lot of clubs and association to join. A lot of events and fests takes place here. Students performed dancing, singing and other activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee was not expensive. It was affordable by the students. In fact campus facilities, academics were good as per the fee charged. My Total course fees was 54.80k at that time. So, the fee was easily affordable by me.
Campus Life
There was a high facilities sports club. Also, there was an auditorium hall, seminar hall. Cultural events, game events and some other computation were held in college. The extracurricular activities offered a wide range of sports, academic and cultural events. At my time, I had the choice to join the sports team of cricket, football, basketball etc.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I opted for hostel. According to me, Hostel Rating was 9/10. The hostel infrastructure was very nice. It had 4/3/2/1 seater room for students with attached washroom, table, chair, bed, almirah etc. The hostel fees was around 1500 per month including food charges.
Admission
Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University organized an entrance exam named as Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET).The mode of this examination is offline and the time duration of this Examination is 3 hours. The university sets an eligibility criteria for GUJCET which includes that the candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology. I got admission in this college after qualifying GUJCET.
Faculty
The faculty members were highly qualified in my department. They were very supportive for personal as well as professional growth. They all were strict but always gave valuable advice. Faculty Members were working hard for the placement of the students . They had good subject knowledge. Quality of teaching was good they taught us on projectors.
