Remarks
It is the best college for any agri-business management aspirant. It became my home in this 2 years. I learned so much and was able to take my career to the next level. I have made so many memories from here that I will never forget.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our institute was set up by the government of India in 1988 under the Ministry of Agriculture to cater to not only the the challenges faced by India but also South East Asia. The course is mainly focused on creating human resource to solve problems faced in agriculture marketing.
Placement Experience
The college offers 100% placement to students. Major companies like big basket, coromandel, Fullerton India credit company etc visit the campus. Average package is around Rs 6 Lakhs per annum and the highest package can go upto 11 lakhs per annum. Every student gets an internship with an average of Rs 10,000 stipend.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total fees for the course is Rs 3.9 lakhs. This is very feasible according to me because most of the candidates already have work experience and the subsequent opportunities also post completion of the course are tremendous.
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities in the college. We have cricket, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts. We have many clubs as well like arts club, music club etc. The atmosphere is amazing in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I lived in the hostel on the campus. It is called KRISHNA hostel. It is a three storeyed building with 50 plus single occupancy. It has all the facilties like WiFi, fully furnished, ac/cooler, newspapers etc.
Admission
I got admission in the college on the basis of my CAT exam score. The eligibility criteria was a 10+2+4 passed candidate from a recognised University. Then a round of personal interview was held before the merit list was declared.
Faculty
Th faculty is highly experienced and knowledgeable. They are from prominent business schools and from the agriculture business as well. Apart from the in-house faculty, we have guest lectures from corporate leaders for a practical understanding.
