Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the syllabus are not easy. You need to apply all the basic and advanced medical science here and learn how to diagnose and treat animals because they can't speak out their problems. The exams are quite tough to get through, if you don't study properly.
Placement Experience
You will get to do an internship while pursuing your bachelor's degree. The internship can be of six month and go up to one year max. During that internship you will get to learn how all the departments in a hospital work in a proper sync. After the graduation, you can find a job either in government hospitals or in some private animal husbandry or animal nutrition companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is not expensive. For the entire course, all you have to pay is around ?2.5 lacs. The tuition fee per year lies within the range from ?45,000 to ?70,000 from first year to final year. You also need to deposit a security money for mess if you opt for hostel.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Yes, you do get a certain amount as scholarship from the state government if you are among the top 25% students of your department. However, the scholarship is only available for its state students. The SC/ST students also get a significant amount of aid from the government.
Campus Life
The campus life is good here. You will witness a number of events taking place each year. There are various sports events and competitions held where you can take part and win prizes. The classrooms are good and labs are well equipped. Overall, you will have a nice experience.
Admission
To get into this college in BVSc course, you need to attempt NEET UG and clear the exam. If you clear the cut-off mark and get the required rank then you will be called for counselling. Along with clearing the entrance test, you also need to have at least 50% marks in your 10+2.
Faculty
The faculty staff is good and knows their job well. It is under their guidance you will learn how to be a good veterinary doctor. Sometimes, they also teach you via treating a patient (animal) so that you can get the concepts crystal clear in your mind.
